SOCIAL SECTOR HERO AWARD

Leaders of public sector organizations aren’t typically in the business because they expect to win awards (and if they are, then it’s wise advice that they don’t hold their collective breaths).

But a private sector firm, Clear Impact, which creates data management tools for measuring program and department outcomes has created a “Social Sector Hero of the Year Award,” for organizations that are doing an exceptional job of focusing on measurable impact based on eight strategies it lays out in a free book titled Social Sector Hero: How Government and Philanthropy Can Fund for Impact, which can be downloaded for free here.

The winning organization will receive $5,000 to use for themselves or a charity of their choice as well as free access to the company’s software (which it values at $9,000) and public recognition.

Applications are due by January 24, 2025 and can be submitted by clicking here.
