MANAGEMENT UPDATE.

EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLIC SERVICE

The Volcker Alliance has created an online aggregator of “entry-level internships, fellowships and other entry-level career opportunities”

It was created using generative AI and is “sortable, filterable, (and) searchable” with 200 programs currently listed from both local and state governments, as well as federal opportunities.

You can access this new resource here

The entries can be sorted by degree requirements, as well as application deadlines and states. They can be grouped in a variety of ways, including program, level of government, program timescale and location.

As Peter Morrissey, Volcker Alliance senior director of Talent and Strategy, writes in a LinkedIn post about the organization’s Gov-Ramp Aggregator, “This is a live product and we’ll continue building on it, so please share with early career future public servants and provide us feedback on how we can improve it, including by adding programs currently omitted.”

(Note that we have had an ongoing relationship as senior project consultants with the Volcker Alliance for which we’ve worked on different projects and reports since 2014.)
